Scored at Red Cat Records, Nick Drake box set for $30!!! Very glad,I somehow lost all but Pink Moon over the years. No-one had
snapped the box set up for several weeks, much to the
confusion of the staff - well it was waiting for me that's why!
Drake left an indelible mark with only 3 official albums before
sadness tragically overtook him. There is an undeniable beauty
to the expression of our human suffering. The only hope is that
our art will transform pain into greater compassion and create
some space to breathe again. If you are unfamiliar with the genius
of Nick Drake, remedy this situation and get any one of his albums:
- Pink Moon: Sparse & luscious, just Nick & his guitar
- Bryter Layter: More layers, cheerfulness presides over meloncholy.
- Five Leaves Left: Named after the little warning that you only had five
rizzla rolling papers left.
